Our Projects

Sudanese Lunch Box Project

The Sudanese Lunchbox Project is driven by a compelling mission: ensuring no child goes hungry at school. Sudanese refugees encounter various hurdles like seeking housing, employment, and accessing support services such as Centrelink. KYDO acknowledges the importance of occasional assistance and strongly believes that nurturing both body and mind is crucial for a child’s holistic well-being and academic achievement. Through supplying nutritious meals during school hours, our goal is to boost children’s focus, enhance their comprehension, and cultivate a positive learning atmosphere.

Through community donations we are able to provide Sudanese families food to make lunches for their children.

The Impact of School Lunches:

A simple lunchbox can make a world of difference in a child’s life. With renewed energy and nourishment, students can concentrate better in class, actively participate in learning activities, and build a solid foundation for their future. By promoting regular school attendance and active engagement, the Sudanese Lunchbox Project contributes to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a pathway to a brighter tomorrow.
